why is my alarm beeping 3 times?

i have a 1.2 8v fiat punto 2004. it has a clifford alarm system fited into it, the problem is that normaly it beeps once when opening and twice when closing. now its beeping 3 times wen i close it. is this a problem if it is how can i fix it?
