Mend Gas Coming Light

Gas doesnt reach the ring?

r gas cooker is old and now when i turn the knob on there is no gas coming from the outlet at all. Hence the cooker is useless as we cant light it up.
We have checked all four rings and the gas just wudlnt come through the rings
Please help me if you have ever had a similar problem
