Mend Cannon Cooker Ignition Gas Supply

My cannon hob has no gas coming through?

The oven and grill work fine (both gas) but when you try to light the hob no gas is coming through i.e. the ignition sparks but there is no sound of gas and it doesn't light

if there is a lid on the cooker that pushes a leaver down on the back of the cooker and cuts the gas out to the hob it is most probably just sticking
