when I switch the oven on nothing happens, the light in the oven does not come on - have checked the plug and fuse all o.k. and no gas is coming through. The grill works fine as does the grill ignition. The oven switch feels as if it is not connecting not as springy as the grill switch. Any ides

Check you havent knocked the clock if it has one to auto mode.It should be on manual.That will be why there is no gas at the oven.
