no sound on pc?

i formatted my pc and i have no sound ive tried to uninstall drivers but that did not work does any one no where i can download a free generic driver

you could try manufacturer of pc website put your model number in and they are pretty reliable but if for somereason this is not possible common sound card is realtek so maybe check there website out http://www.realtek.com.tw/ download the ac97 drivers good luck
