my windscreen washer is not working. it is full of water but when I pull the lever the windscreen wipers work but no water comes out on either the front or rear windscreens. how can I access the bottle to see if there is a blockage.
thanks Lisa
ps this will be my first attempt at car maintenance, so I need an idiots guide please
I also had this problem caused by the washer pipe in the rear door to come off and leak over the wiper motor. The handbook fues layout on my car was wrong, however the fuse you want is the lower 10 amp (red).

Brilliant thank you very much. The guy at the spare parts shop was not convinced that it would be a fuse though !! However it solved the problem perfectly
thanks again

You need to check the fuse located under the bonnet. Its 10Amp, check your handbook for the exact location in the fuse box. I had the same problem some weeks ago, I think caused by the washer fluid freezing in the pump.
