What's gone wrong with my oven? Smeg SE336SS-5 not heating up?

Today our oven stopped heating up, now I don't know how to check if its the heating coil or thermostat. That may be a dumb question but I'm no cooker expert! The grill still works, I don't know if that is relevant or not.
