bonnet keeps unlocking. how can ifix this problem?

hiya m8, i actually got a letter thru from renault tellin me my car had to b recalled to check the release mech on the bonnet coz theyd had several problems. since iv heard nothin back....
atleast the bopnnet still stays closed!

check that the cable release handle is fully replaced back as some times it sticks you have to push it back then spray some wd40 on working parts under bonnet if that does not work try and adjust locking mechanisum.

Hi, it could be the screw need tightening on the bonnet itself , its usually inside a large spring which tensions the bonnet down when closed, this may need tightening up, due it as a trial and error as you dont want to overtighten it just a little at a time, hope it helps and let me know ok, best of luck to you
