can i fix a citreon saxo seat problem?

hi
have w reg saxo have had from new, about 24k miles on clock.

front seat has started disengaging from runner, moved whilst i was driving.

see there was a recall due to this fault on earlier models, but iits only just started on mine.

Is it repairable.

I have the same problem, 1.1SX 3 door 97P 46000 miles, seat shoots back, when braking.
Citroen UK say "Tough"

Dealer says needs a new runner, 112.80 gbp

VOSA say the recall never expires!

I'll keep you ionformed, as this could easily result in death!
