I HAVE A LG 270. AND JUST OF LATE I AM RECEIVING THE 'UNAUTHORIZED SIM' MESSAGE ON MY SCREEN. I HAVE INSERTED A NUMBER OF SIMS JUST TO CHECK IF IT IS A SIM PROBLEM. UPON HAVING IT CHECKED BY A MOBILE TECHNICIAN WHO TELLS ME THAT THIS IS A 'SOFTWARE PROBLEM'. AND THIS CAN BE CORRECTED BY REPROGRAMMING IT THROUGH A COMPUTER.
THEREFORE, CAN YOU PLEASE CONFIRM IF THIS IS CORRECT? AND IF NOT. THEN KINDLY LET ME KNOW WHAT IS CAUSING THIS PROBLEM.
the phone may be lock to a network say if you buy a phone from 02 then i will be locked to 02 have you tried other net work sims ? when u turn the phone on is there a network logo on screen or on the case
to update the software u can go to lg website
if the phone is locked then u can take it to a shop cost £5 to £10 to unlock or call the network up for a unlock code cost free to £20
