How can i stop my freeview freezing?

Is the signal too strong as this can cause coruption in the data and make some systems crash.

I have the same problem with the same model machine. I was told to reformat the entire disk which they believe was corrupted. I do not wish to lose some of my recordings, and have the nagging doubt that the helpline simply do not have an answer. Last night the box would not act as a receiver without being turned off (by disconnecting from the power source) and back on again. Does anyone have a helpline number as I've list the one I had previously?

I have this problem too, as does a friend living near me, who has the same model. It might be a the software update from Thomson that's causing the problem?
