washer not spinning?

i have a hotpoint aquarius wt540 1400 spin washer and when i put it on to wash a load, all the lights come on the s/board(no 30410744176649 39.06) and it doesn't spin,can you please advise me as to the possible problem and if it can be repaired/ thanks
