Starting problem Renault Master van 05 plate?

Van recently had a flat battery, after this was charged up van started OK, next time went to use the van it turns and starts then the revs just die away. If you manage to get it going and keep the revs up it drops revs then picks up again, settles most times after 5 min, if allow the revs to drop then when the revs die away it stalls.
