When driving on the motorway and i release the accelerator at around 80mph, the temperature gauge goes straight into the red. As soon as i press the accelerator again, the temp goes straight into the middle again. Any ideas what could be causing this problem ?
Its only when the accelerator is released, as soon as i press it again the temp goes back into the middle. Only at speeds of around 70-80mph, It misfires ocasionally on cold mornings, but nothing major.

if its only at sspeed and wen the accelarator is pressed it snds like an electrical fault. does your fan work? Does it misfire if so it could be the temp regulator that has failed
