Have you checked the inlet water hose screen to see if it's clogged? The screen is at the end of the hose or inside the inlet valve where the hose screws up on to. Use a flash light to see it if it's inside the valve. Try that before buying any parts.

If the water is turned off - turn it on
If the water hose is kinked - unkink it
If the water inlet solenoid valve has failed (quite common) then replace it (relatively easy) or have someone else replace it.

The inlet solenoid valve has the external water hose screwed to it on the back of the machine - take lid off - remove couple of screws - couple of wires - internal hose - put new valve in.
