We had the same problem but I fear we made it worse because we moved ours from the house to the garage to replace an old one that had stopped keeping frozen food 'solid'. (We threw the very old one away but we now realise , having read this forum, that it probably wasn't working because the ambient temperature was too low.)
We let the moved one defrost but when we plugged it in it didn't work and still doesn't despite changing fuses and even the plug. I guess they just don't like being moved. I don't know whether to just dump it. But I need a fridge freezer in the garage to hold the food we cannot keep in the house. I don't know what other checks I can carry out to see if it is fixable. any ideas?
