fridge not working?

on my fridge freezer the fridge has stopped working but the freezer still works. just wondering how to fix it or why this has happened.
make: electrolux model: zanussi kbfn252
when i defrost it works again for a couple of weeks then same problem occurs

I have a Lec larder fridge - the fridge isn't cold enough and the compressor never cuts out - is it a thermostat problem or something more expensive!?

Hi Louise,
You have a fault with the automatic defrost system.
Could be a number of things that stop the defrosting of the freezer on it's own.
You need an Engineer.
