How can I fix my Fisher and Paykel N405T refrigerator?

My fridge just doesnt stop working it is running all day and night. I turned it of a while back to thaw it out because it was iced up around the freezer fan. Then after a little while it stopped . I thought it was too close to the wall so i pulled it out and it now runs and runs and is always on the brink of defrosting because the frost on the cooling plate at the back of the frige seems to be softish.
