boiler losing pressure?

if it was a very old boiler i would say yea however, the pipes in modern heat exchangers are very small there would be a good chance that you could block them. if you know where the leak is then your better off taking the thing apart and replacing seals etc a leak repair solution will also block any other small holes and valves etc that make the boiler operate
