Mend Subaru Legacy 2004 Opened Oil Problem

how to close my bonnet?

Subaru Legacy 2004 .Opened the bonnet to check oil level with no problem. When i triedy to close the bonnet the locking mechanism is not engaging. Have oiled all the parts.
