Mend Peugeot 406 Locking Drivers Passenger

how can i fix peugeot406 erratic central locking?

using key on drivers side, system locks 1 out of 7 tries. on passenger side, more often. no known damage, breaking or dismantling! peugeot 406, on a 51 plate, diesel estate, generally a super car.
