A shot in the dark question?

If have pinnacle 8 SE Studo 8.8 film maker which came with my Canon camcorder package 4yrs ago.
I started loading photos to pinnacle edit page film maker to make a menued slide show and saved ready to add some more later.

On re-loading found all picture frames [327] had turned red. What could be the cause and the solution.


Pinnacle /Avid don't want to know as they claim Version 8 is seven yrs olf not 4 as I thought, no wonder it was in with the camera for free if at that time it was also out of date for tech help.
Pinnacle huh!

Well the title did say it's a shot in the dark and that someone out there had the same problem and a solution.
