Mend Craftsman LT 1000 Lawnmower Pulley

How do I keep the belt on my Craftsman LT 1000?

The belt came off of my mower, when my wife ran over something. I routed it according to the diagram on the deck. But there still seems to be a problem. The pulley in the center on the riders left moves a great deal. I am not sure where it should be?

If the belt came off from being hit there's a good chance that
one of the pulleys was damaged. Check them for distortion.
