Mend AEG Electric Oven Switch

AEG Competence B2100-1 Electric Oven?

When I switch on the oven it heats up and operates for about 30 minutes before switching off. I then have to leave the oven switched off to cool for about 30 to 40 minutes after which it can be switched on again only to switch off again in the same fashion. Has anyone had this problem and how was it cured?

switch off.pull oven out.remove the front top panel.look inside attached to the wiring loom for a blue torpedo shaped device.is it burnt in th middle?.if so replace it and it will work correctly again.this bit that has burnt is to switch the cooling fan on when the temp gets to hot.
