Mend AEG U7101 Aeg Oven Fan

AEG U7101 RCD trips when main oven fan selected?

When using the fan function on the main oven the rcd trips out after about 15 minutes. I've changed the central fan element-still have the fault. Oven works fine in all other modes. Is it the fan motor? Cooling fan operates ok on all modes

My guess would be the roof element - internally shorting to its outer case and caused by a slightly higher temperature when the fan blows air about. An RCD trip is much more likely to be element related than fan.

But I know nothing and only guess... It might be the fan...

Which is easier to change?
