Mend Bathroom Hot Taps Turn Boiler

why do my bathroom and cloakroom hot taps turn themselves on ?

since having a combi boiler installed a few months ago, i often find my bath hot tap has turned itself on. also, coming home today, i found the cloakroom like a sauna and the hot tap running, presumeably for quite some time! this is going to cost a fortune! any ideas?

best bet is to have a plumber make sure that your taps are suitable for use with a combi boiler, as the pressure can be substantially higher due to water being supplied from cold main. may be a good idea to isolate the supply to those taps or to the boiler when you're going out until you get it seen to.
