Mend Tecumseh HSK35-45515M Leak Engine Plate

oil leak behind carberator intake?

On the side of the engine behind the intake there is a plate with it looks like a mesh coming out of it. When i start the engine it starts throwing oil out of this plate.This is a Tecumseh 3.5 Hp HSK35-45515M engine Please help me if you can. Bill Rivera

I would say its the crankcase breather, either the engine is over filled with oil, or you have cylinder wear.
