Mend ADT Contact Alarm System

Lost Window contact for alarm system?

I have an ADT security system. I was having my windows replaced and during the process they lost one half of a window contact. Can I simply buy a window contact - about $4 on-line, or is this not going to match up with my current system and I have to have ADT come out to fix it - $$$$$$$

Fran firstly, i am feeling for you for having an ADT alarms system, was this a moment of madness for you, Probably the most expensive alarm company in the World.
Just buy one on line and fit it yourself or get a friend to, If not, your need to go to the bank and borrow against your home for a second mortgage to get an engineer to return.
My advice to you would be to ask friends if they know an engineer who could take the system over.
