Mend Ford 1999 Focus Car Drivers

How to fix electric window in ford focus 1999?

The car is a Ford Focus 1999. The cable in the electric mechanism for opening/closing the driver's window is not working properly. The motor is working but the cable does not wind properly. The cable is bent and is snagging on itself. Can this be fixed?
