Mend Hoover New Wave 1100 Pump Drum

forgotten re-assembly order?

have hoover new wave washer 1100 electronic,
removed sump hose to pump, to take noisey coins out, does the eco ball sit in the recess in top of the sump hose, or above the washer/collar that fits in the bottom of the drum assembly before u put the sump hose back on. hope thats clear

I don't have an answer to your question, but I have a terrible memory for things like that. I solved my problem with a digital camera. I take pix upon disassembly, then if I have a problem when reassembling, I have a ready reference to look at. Just a tip that may help someone.
