Please ignore the first part of the previous answer. You are not allowed to move the BT Master Socket. It is the demarcation point between your cabling and BT's. If you do this and screw it up, you WILL get a big bill from BT. You could get BT to move it but it will be expensive.
The easiest fix is to buy an extension socket and do a short run of telephone cable between the back of the faceplate of the Master Socket to the new extension.
Wire it as follows: ONLY connect the following connectors: Take the Blue and White wire from Connector 2 on the Master to Connector 2 on the Extension. Now take the White & Blue wire from connector 5 on the Master to to connector 5 on the extension.
DO NOT fiddle with the wires that enter the back of the Master Socket. That is BT owned and you could find yourself in trouble.
