Rover 45 Turbo Diesel water pump?

hey john.. not sure if you still need this answer but the water pump on a rover 45 diesel is under the alternator .. you will see a coolant pipe going in to the center of a plate .. the plate is secured by 5 8mm bolts.. pull off the pipe.. undo the bolts..remove the backing plate then remove the pump most likly with a little tap ... hope to be of some use.. good luck..
