2000 dodge dakota, driver window off rack mounting,
all doorskin unhooked except, how do i disconnect manual window handle

Only a guess but most window winding handles have a screw cover cap in centre of the drive shaft end which pops out with small screwdriver and the screw is sunk in, unscrew pull winder off. Oh! and with most doesn't have to be put back same postition just lose fit turn it and if it parks in suitable position re-fit the screw.
