howto sphon gas from a 1999 dodge van?

Most vehicles if not all are fitted with anti syphon device to prevent fuel [Gas if you like] being stolen.
I'm told garages have a suction device to remove fuel so drive or tow to gargage with personal and vehicle ID they may ask. Yes that's right ID i had this after over filling my car and wanted 2gals taken out the garage made me leave my car and go home collect id returned and they did the syphoning free.
