soap dispenser wont open?

hotpoint aquarius fdw70 soap dispenser wont open and the soap tablet is still in thee after the cycle is finished what can I do?

Hotpoint Hotpoint FDW70 Kitchen Appliances, Dishwashers Open Hotpoint Aquarius

replace dispenser or just put the tablet in the base before you start the wash cycle
