Mend Ford KA Ka Starts

How can I fix the raving when braking in my Ford KA?

Hi, when we brake in our Ford KA, it starts to rav. Its almost like its accelerating instead of "gearing down". Do you have any suggestions as to what's causing this. Sometimes reseting the car computer helps but the raving returns after a while.

sounds like you need a new throttle position sensor. reasonably easy job but part a bit expensive.
