Thanks ej I tried putting it in first and then reverse but it seems to have completely seized...nicky

has it sat a while my focus handbrake locks on if left a few days after wet weather usually. try rocking it back and forward with the gears and it will make a bang when it releases. If it hasn't sat a while it will need looked at hope it helps
