Mend Nissan Almera Problem Car

is this an immobiliser problem?

Car - Nissan Almera - starts initially but after short trip if switched off it will not start. Dashboard lights up engine symbol may flash but starter motor does not engage. 20 or so minutes later car will start no problem!
