Mend Ravenheat RSF 84ET Rsf Boiler Fires

Ravenheat RSF 84ET operates continuously?

The boiler fires up on its own when there is no demand from timer or room stat and because the recirc pump is not running the boiler makes a noise like a kettle boiling and then trips out on the overheat stat, any advice would be appreciated.

Yes i have replaced the main PCB and that has solved it.
Check out e-bay i managed to buy it for a few quid.
But be careful i bought one with the same part number but was listed for a different model of boiler in the Ravenheat range and it did n't work !

Not an answer but another question - I have a similar problem, I can't turn teh central heating sidde off, did you find the problem???

Thanks for that i have tested the microswitch it's operating OK do have any other thoughts on what the problem may be ?

check the microswitch on the back of the main 3 way valve, it may be sticky?
