After about 1 hour my boiler is starting to make a loud banging noise, ?

After about 1 hour my boiler is starting to make a loud banging noise, i have switched thermostat off for 10 seconds and switched back on as per instructions but again after 1 hour same situstion and then the overheat lights up.

air lock problem i would say if your system has been drained. or pump faulty! is rads heating?
