Mend Hitachi 42" Plasma Tv No Picture

how can i fix my hitachi 42' plasma hd ready tv?

The tv and picture is intermittent one day fine the next nothing.Maybe the next day a partial picture which you can change channel and volume by remote.When it does not switch on there is no volume or picture.I have to try and switch it on or off by using botton on tv ,as remote has no effect.

Paul i live in spain and the tv is connected to an incoming fibre optic cable system we have two other tvs in the house and they are fine.Seems to have a mind of its own.

What is the TV connected to? Sky box, freeview or aerial? It may be a faulty incoming signal or HDMI cable, can you be more specific
