Mend Hotpoint Dryer Cut Off

Why does dryer cut off?

I replaced the element in my Hot Point cloths dryer and now when I push start it attempts to start but immediately cut off.

IF IT WASNT CUTTING OUT BEFORE YOU CHANGED THE ELEMENT THEN YOU HAVE PROBABLY MADE AN ERROR WHILST RE-WIRING .
