Mend Hotpoint CDT40 Tumble Dryer Thermostat

cdt40 heater not getting hot have changed thermostat/cut out?

Does something else stop the heater working on hotpoint cdt40??. when switched on drying and cool tumble lights come on then on/off light and 3 other lights flash while dryer working. only way to turn machine off is to open door.
