where is the cut-off switch for the thermotat in a 1600 Hoover washer/dryer?
The cut-off switch has activated in my Hoover saver 1600 washer/dryer. It was repaired under warantee last time but the engineer would not show me where the switch is, and it's happened again out of warantee. The tumble dryer now only runs cold. I can't foinid the switch to reset it.
if it has operated again then there is obviously a fault and simply re-setting it would only be a temporary fix. you should get a professional to inspect it, it will be either excessive lint build up restricting air flow, o/c fill valve, failed fan motor, wiring issues or a thermostat/ntc sensor issue or control module fault. best get a pro like me to fix it.
