How to fix a E90 problem on a Zannusi Washer Dryer ZWD 1270 S?

as you look from the front did you lay it on its right side with the soap draw at the highest point?.if so water can escape from the soap draw and find its way in to the control panel/main pcb

To get the filter out completely I turned it on it's side, some more water came out. I cleaned filter, replaced it and now on/off light comes on and nothing else! Have taken off lid, sprayed WD40, used hair dryer on it, pressed in all connectors I can see, and nothing!! Thanks ck for your help, you are a gem!!

Did ANY water go on to the display pcb??.If so costly repair may be needed.E90 is a communication error from the display pcb to the main pcb.there is a blue wiring loom with 5 blue wires that goes from the display pcb to the main pcb.if there is a bad connection on this loom then it could be the problem.disconnect and reconnect this loom at both ends and retry.
