Please help my mixer shower has never worked properly it keeps stopping ?

Help my mixer shower has never worked properly it keeps stopping. I hear a banging noise from radiator then shower stops also when I flush toilet cold water in sink stops. Please advise plummer has left me high and dry! many thanks
