Mend AEG lavatherm 630 Aeg Problem Heat

aeg tumble dryer timer sticking?

I have a problem with an AEG lavatherm 630 tumble dryer. When I put the timer programe on to any heat settings it sticks but on the cool air setting it will move on and stop the sequence. What could be the problem?
