How can I replace the door seal on My Hoover Logic 1200?

REMOVE THE PLUG FROM THE MAINS
Remove the lid, held on by screws on rear of machine
You will see a metal band that secures the seal from the inside of the machine, this is secured by a screw and square nut, undo the screw and release the band.
Open the door, the door seal is secured by either a metal band that is screwed together, or a plastic band that clips together. Once the 2 bands (inner and outer ) are removed the seal will pull off. NOTE when you look at the seal from the front of the machine you will see a notch in the seal in the 7 or 8 o'clock position. The new seal must be fitted with this notch in the same place. Washing up liquid will assist in refitting. The drum has 2 springs that hold it in place from the top, releasing the one to the front of the machine will allow better access to the seal from inside the machine.
