Mend Car Alarm Key Fob

key fob not working?

Please can anyone advise on what to do if you are unable to unlock the car by key fob. I have had the battery replaced today however still not working. Im affraid to unlock it manually as the alarm will go off. Any ideas welcome please help.

possible cause..... some manufacturers use two joint systems... infa-red plus a radio signal. Hold your key very close to driver's door handle and press "unlock". If it works maybe the radio receiver, for distance operation, (in rear window) is not functioning.
