Mend Land Rover Freelander W Reg Wont Start

'w reg' freelander won't start?

my 'w reg' freelander does not respond to the fob so i open the driver's door manually with the key.this sets the alarm off and car won't start either,but dashboard lights come up.got a new car battery,but problem persists.will changing the battery in the fob work?someone help me please.thanks in advance.

hi there you need to change the battery in the fob when you disconnected the battery you reset the alarm check you manuel it shows you how to reset the alarm and key and add an extra earth to the battery hope this helps
